Purpose and legal basis
The website serves to inform the public about the activities of the University of Potsdam.
If the CRC 1287 obtains consent (e.g. contact form) from the data subject for the collection of personal data, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR serves as the legal basis.
Logging
Each time our website is accessed, the following data is stored in log files for operational and data security purposes, as well as for statistical purposes:
- IP address,
- time of access,
- user agent (browser and operating system used),
- page or content elements accessed, and
- referrer URL, if provided.
The data is stored for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted.
Cookies
