Linguistic Evidence 2024
Linguistic Evidence is a biannual conference, founded in 2004 at the University of Tübingen (https://uni-tuebingen.de/en/research/core-research/collaborative-research-centers/crc-833/linguistic-evidence/), whose aim is to improve empirical adequacy in linguistic theory formation. LE provides a forum for exchange for researchers from all subfields of linguistics who wish to better integrate data-driven and theory-driven approaches to language, and to discuss methods of data collection and analysis.
The conference welcomes contributions using, e.g., quantitative-experimental work, fieldwork, corpus studies, and particularly welcomes interdisciplinary work. LE 2024 will be hosted by the Collaborative Research Center 1287 „Limits of Variability in Language: Cognitive, Computational, and Grammatical Aspects“, funded by the German Research Foundation (project number 317 633 480 – SFB 1287; https://www.sfb1287.uni-potsdam.de/en/).
